Salvation

1. Jesus created man, yet man has sinned.

Jesus is from everlasting and is God who in the beginning created everything for his glory.

Colossians 1:16-17 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

Adam's sin caused all men to be subject to judgment, but Jesus has provided all men the free gift of life.

Romans 5:16 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

No man has kept God's laws perfectly and all have sinned.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

The penalty of sin is death, but God has given all men the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

2. Man must admit he is a sinner.

Man must realize and admit he is a sinner.

1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

3. Man must believe on Jesus to be saved.

Anyone who believes on Jesus Christ will recieve eternal life.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Anyone who receives the free gift will not be condemned, but anyone who does not is condemned already.

John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

To receive eternal life, man must confess and believe with all his heart.

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

4. Salvation is for all people, no matter what.

From the beginning of creation until the end of the world all who have and will call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Romans 10:12-13 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
